User manual
Section titled “User manual”Thank you for choosing SpectaGlobe for your event. This manual provides the basic information needed to work with the spheres.
Starting SpectaGlobe
Section titled “Starting SpectaGlobe”- Turn the sphere on with a short press of the POWER BTN on the bottom side.
- Connect to the sphere from the app.
Connecting to SpectaGlobe
Section titled “Connecting to SpectaGlobe”- Install the Spectoda app (or Spectoda Connect). It is available in the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
- Sign in to your Spectoda network in the app.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled; the app will then connect.
- After opening a group, for example “Event Spheres”, you can control all spheres at once. By clicking individual blocks, you can control each sphere separately.
Battery life
Section titled “Battery life”The battery in the sphere lasts about 12 hours at full brightness. Dynamic animation extends battery life when the whole LED strip is not lit continuously. If the sphere stops glowing, it needs to be charged.
Charge the sphere by connecting a USB-C cable to the connector on the bottom side (recommended source 5 V / 2 A).
After the event
Section titled “After the event”At the end of use, turn all spheres off. Turn the sphere off with a short press of the POWER BTN on the bottom side.
For longer battery life, store the spheres charged to 40-60% and do not leave them discharged for a long time.
