Remote control

Remote control allows selected Spectoda installations to be controlled through Spectoda Connect even when the user is not directly connected to the local mesh.

Typical use cases

  • Checking or changing lighting outside opening hours
  • Giving a facility manager access to multiple installations
  • Supporting larger projects where local access is not always practical

Remote control is not automatic for every installation. It depends on the network setup, Gateway availability, cloud service configuration and user permissions.

For end users, the available controls stay the same as in the prepared Spectoda Connect interface. The difference is the connection path, not a separate editing mode.
