SC Industry A
The SC Industry A control unit is designed mainly for controlling industrial luminaires. It can connect to a DALI line and also supports additional input and output types.

Description
Section titled “Description”The SC Industry A control unit is designed mainly for controlling industrial luminaires, so it can be connected to DALI drivers.
Thanks to Spectoda firmware, it is also compatible with all other Spectoda-enabled devices and enables direct communication with sensors.
Typical spaces include:
- production / industrial halls
- schools and kindergartens
- administrative spaces and offices
- sports facilities
- hospitals
It provides a simple and flexible control solution, improving efficiency and reducing infrastructure and energy costs. Lights can be controlled individually or by segment and wirelessly connected to sensors such as motion or daylight sensors. It can be implemented into existing luminaires without new cabling.
Industry A is designed with expandability in mind and supports a range of expansion modules, also called shields.
Spectoda lighting control system

SC Industry A features

Wiring diagram
Section titled “Wiring diagram”The SC Industry controller can separately control up to 16 DALI drivers connected in parallel on the DALI line.

Expansions
Section titled “Expansions”SC Industry A can gain additional functions through expansion modules. Only one module can be mounted on one controller at the same time, except for RTC, but a controller mesh network can combine all variants at once.
The 2x 0-10V & Neopixel expansion belongs to SC Linear controllers. Because of a different pin layout, it is not an expansion board for SC Industry A.

Phase input

Allows one standard switch, relay, PIR sensor, or other 230 V signal to be connected to the controller.


Product code: SPE10101A-V-IA-0400
The 0-10V expansion adds two analog 0-10 V output channels to SC Industry A for controlling compatible 0-10 V drivers.


Daylight

Allows a Daylight sensor to be connected for measuring light intensity inside a room, creating a closed-loop system.


Skylight

Module with a sensor for measuring sunlight intensity, creating an open-loop system.
Skylight is based on the same expansion variant as Daylight. The main difference is placement: Skylight is intended for a window or skylight so it can see the sky directly. Daylight is intended for placement inside a room.


Product code: SPE10101A-R-IA-0400
The RTC (Real-Time Clock) module provides precise time measurement even when the main power supply is off. One RTC module is enough for the whole controller mesh network.


Multisensor

The multisensor module (PIR + daylight sensor) automatically adapts lighting based on motion detection and ambient brightness. By using natural light effectively, it is ideal for energy-efficient office installations.


External I2C
Section titled “External I2C”Product code: SPE10101A-I-IA-0400
The External I2C expansion allows external devices communicating over the I2C bus to be connected to SC Industry A terminals.


Compatible devices
Section titled “Compatible devices”SC Industry A is controlled wirelessly from Spectoda smartphone and desktop applications over Bluetooth, or through a physical switch connected to the Spectoda system.
