Connectivity
Connectivity describes how Spectoda Controllers connect to luminaires, sensors, gateways, control accessories and external systems.
Common interfaces
Section titled “Common interfaces”- DALI - control of compatible DALI drivers and luminaires
- Digital LED strips - control of addressable strips such as NEOPIXEL or DOTSTAR setups
- DMX, Art-Net and sACN - integration with entertainment and architectural lighting workflows
- iBeacon - proximity use cases where a project needs beacon-based behaviour
- GPIO, GPI, GPO and PWM - controller inputs and outputs used for buttons, sensors and simple switching
How to choose the right path
Section titled “How to choose the right path”Start from the device or luminaire you need to control. Then check which electrical interface it exposes, what controller family supports it and whether the project also needs remote access or cloud services.
