Changing a network

How to change the network of your device, luminaire, or controller through Spectoda Studio.

This guide applies to the Spectoda Studio version from February 1, 2025. If your installation uses FW 0.12.0 or newer and is connected to Spectoda Connect 3rd generation, please ignore this guide and contact a technician.

  1. Start by opening Spectoda Studio

    • we recommend using a laptop with Google Chrome

  2. Sign in to your account, or create one

  3. Open Playground

  4. Click the Connection tab

  5. Select the network you want to add the device to

    • Click No network in the top-left corner.
    • Click Add network.

    • Sign in to the network where you want to add your device, or create a new network.

  6. Connect to the device whose network you want to change

    • Click the connection icon in the top-right corner.

    • In the Bluetooth pop-up, connect to the target device.

    Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer.
    You need to sign in to the specific device whose network you want to change.

  7. Change the network

    • Click the controller name in the left column.
    • In the right-hand panel, click Change in the Network row.

    • In the pop-up, select the network you want to add the device to and click Change network.
